Center School Foundation Awards Students and Local Community College Scholarships

Center School Foundation Scholarship AwardThis year, the Center School Foundation was proud to offer their first college scholarships to our High School Seniors, Megan L. and Bryan W. as well as two students from Somerset County. The mission of the Center School Foundation Scholarship is to empower and enable high school students with disabilities to go to college, realize the impact their contributions can make on their community and target a career in an industry where they will thrive in their community. The amount of this non-renewable scholarship to be awarded is $1,000 to two (2) recipients from The Center School and two (2) recipients from other area high schools. The Center School Foundation feels it is important to show our support not only to our students, but also to the special needs community as a whole. These scholarships will be paid through The Center School Foundation to the recipient’s Financial Aid Office. Each applicant presented to us their own unique skill set, interests and goals – each, very deserving of this token of support for their future. We wish them well in all their future endeavors and look forward to hearing from them at future Alumni events.
