Explorers Club Visits Washington Crossing State Park

Titusville – The Explorers Club experienced first-hand activities that were common during the colonial time period.  The Center School Explorers Club was able to watch a reenactment of General Washington and his troops as they crossed the Delaware to attack the Hessians at Trenton.  Mr. Rinaldi, a Center School History teacher, gave a presentation about the crossing through the eyes of an officer in the Continental Army; Mr. Kalinski, a Center School History teacher, provided additional historical information for the students.

The purpose of the Explorers Club is to further educate students on current and historical events and places, as well as developing social skills and peer-connections.
