Career Day Comes to Center School

The Center School welcomed community members volunteering tOpportunity-CareerDayheir time for Career Day today!

Guests presented background on their careers to 8th-12th grade students, providing an inside look to what links the classroom to the workplace. We were so fortunate to have a variety of careers represented today!

NASA Awards Program Growth Grant to Robotics Team

Branchburg – NASA awarded a Program Growth grant to The Center School Robotics team, in the amount of $5000. The Center School is only the second special education program in the nation to take part in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology:  www.usfirst.org).  FIRST was founded in 1989 by Dean Kamen, a research scientist who wanted to create a world where science and technology are celebrated, and where young people can dream of being science and technology heroes.
