The Somerset County Youth Council was established to give the young people of the County a forum where their ideas and concerns could be expressed and transmitted to the Board of Chosen Freeholders. Peter S. Palmer is the Freeholder liaison for the Youth Council.
A “Safe Night” is a party for teens in grades 7 to 12, planned by youth and adults, with time to learn conflict resolution skills and get straight talk about drugs and alcohol. All Safe Nights have three universal rules that make them successful: NO WEAPONS, NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS, AND NO ARGUMENTS!
This year’s theme is “Welcome to Disney”. All participants are encouraged to dress-up like their favorite Disney character.
